Dear Parent/guardian

The Leicester Wildcats Paintball Club takes its role as mentor for the academy team seriously therefore have to take into consideration the need for a child protection policy in this politically correct world.

As it stands the club has no policy.

The purpose of this note is to make you aware of the absence of such a policy and also to let you know that a policy is being formulated .

In the mean time could you please read and sign the disclaimer below to allow your child to continue participation in the Wildcats academy team.

UKPSF insurance is recommended, by Leicester Wildcats Paintball Club, but is not compulsory.

When training or in competition with the Leicester Wildcats Paintball Club:  

• No insurance is offered or inferred over and above the site owners Public liability insurance
• No responsibility for the conduct of the young person in question is accepted by the club
• No responsibility or liability is accepted if an injury is sustained whilst participating in or traveling to/from an event
• No responsibility or liability is accepted by the club for personal belongings that is lost, stolen or damaged
• I accept that there is no Child protection policy in place at present

The club will however make every endeavor to ensure the safety of the said young person at all times by adopting responsible procedures, observation of safety codes and common sense.
